Field Technician

Where most Platinum careers start

Field Technicians are the face of Platinum on every property we serve. It's a hands-on, on-the-move role, and for most of our team, it's the role they started in before growing into something else.

What the role involves

A route, a truck, and properties that count on you

Day to day, a Field Technician inspects properties to identify pest activity, applies treatment safely and in line with company and state regulations, and explains what's happening and why to the people who live and work there. You'll keep accurate service records, follow safety protocols around chemicals and equipment, and keep your company vehicle and gear in good shape. It's independent work on a set route, with a Service Manager backing you up when something needs a second set of eyes.

What we look for

Attitude first, experience second

Previous pest control experience helps, but it's not required. What matters more is a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to work independently and manage a route, and the physical capability to handle equipment and work in different environments. State-required pest control certification and licensing comes with the job, we train for it. Most of our field roles include a company vehicle and phone, medical, dental, vision & life coverage, a 401(k), paid holidays and PTO, and ongoing pest control education, though the specifics can vary by location.
